Home Centre Manager wanted for location 1 hour from Vermillion, Alberta.

We are currently recruiting for a Home Centre Manager 1 hour from Vermillion, Alberta.

Must Haves:

· 3-5 years Management experience as an SM/ASM in a Medium/Large Retail Box.

· Must have full working knowledge of running Profit and Loss accountability.

· Full Availability to work a variety of shifts as the store is open Monday to Sunday and stat holidays on a rotational basis.

· Possess great Communication skills (both oral and written), Inter-personal skills, Organizational skills, Math skills, Computer skills in MS Word package (Outlook, Word, Excel).

· Coaching/Training/Mentoring a Team is required.

· Knowledge/experience in Hardware, Lumber, Agro products is an asset.

· Demonstrated initiative and drive for results.

· Strategic planning/executing production as well as implementing continuous improvement/changes to procedures/processes.

· Ability to manage multiple demands by being bendable and flexible in your attitude and work ethic.

· The ability to be a True Servant Leader in all ways!


Job Duties:

· Engage and interact with vendors, customers, staff, and management alike, by providing excellent Customer Service.

· Be responsible for communication, planning, organizing, implementation, and execution of the business.

· Provide leadership/direction to all the Team Leaders and Members in all areas of: People, Financial, Market Growth, Sustainability, Operational Excellence and Safety.

· Ensuring compliance to company policies/procedures/professional standards/applicable laws/regulations are adhered to.

· Build and maintain relationships with Internal and External Customers/Team Members while ensuring all administrative duties are maintained on an ongoing basis.

· This position will Lead by Example (Servant Leadership) to ensure a highly productive atmosphere exists within the Team.

· Ensuring Employee Development/Succession Planning is a High Priority!
