Heavy Equipment Repair Technicians wanted for Mississauga, Barrie, Etobicoke and Aurora,Ontario. Can

The Heavy Equipment Repair Techs are are responsible for inspection, testing, diagnosing of electrical, hydraulic and diesel construction equipment for repair.


-ensuring repairs produce consistent/reliable products while ensuring quality/safety standards are met.

-diagnose/repair all construction/aerial equipment as it relates to various diesel, hydraulic and electrical equipment including - skid steers, mini excavators, aerial reach and tow-able equipment.

-following appropriate checklists/procedures including reading/referring to owners manuals and schematics.

-operate/test equipment where possible, do so under actual operating conditions.

-diagnose/provide guidance to Service Technicians on the service/repairs as required.

-assess and provide input related to equipment retirement.

-possess product knowledge and effectively transfer this knowledge to the customers. Including explaining features/benefits, safe operating techniques while promoting related accessories/products.

-treat each customer in a fair/consistent manner, resolving any issues that might come up.

-complete all work orders/related paperwork with respect to the repair of construction/aerial equipment in order to preserve the integrity of the Rental Management computer system.

-maintain all inventory control documents.

-adhere to all company safety standards.

-other duties as assigned.


-high school diploma or equivalent.

-heavy equipment trade certification is an asset.

-minimum of 2 years of heavy equipment repair/related experience.

- hands on working experience also considered.

-valid G Class Drivers license with clean driving abstract (within the last 3 months).

-must possess a mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
